My Favorite Dinosaurs: Pelicanimimus

Here's number 13 on my list of favorite dinosaurs!! The Pelicanimimus, or "pelican mimic." Belonging in the same groups of dinosaurs as Gallimimus and Ornithomimus, Pelicanimimus was the only dinosaur in this group to actually possess more teeth than the latter(most of which we're toothless)! It was a small ornithomimid dinosaur that reached lengths of 6.5 to 8 feet long. The reason why these dinosaurs are called "pelican mimic" is because they have a gular pouch underneath their bottom jaws similiar to that of modern day pelicans. Obviously since they're ornithomimid dinosaurs, these we're herd animals that may have moved in flocks(sometimes to even evade a carnivorous predator)! I know nowadays dinosaurs like these had feathers, but I figured I should give them a bald Jurassic Park-esque look(since I honestly think most dinosaurs look better that way ).
