Jurassic Ed: Clever Dork

Here's the next chapter of my crossover to Ed, Edd n Eddy and Jurassic Park, Jurassic Ed! 


Elsewhere, Edd, Ed, Sarah, and Jimmy finally reached the hilltop to the perimeter fence. But they saw that the fence was completely covered in wires covering the cables. They also saw that the two lights on top of the fence: a large orange one and a small blue one, were both off. Edd grabbed a nearby stick from the ground and tossed it to the fence. He noticed the fence didn't make electric noises or didn't char the stick. "Well," he said, "I guess that means the power is still out." He then slowly approached the fence and briefly stared at it for a moment. He slowly raised both of his arms and reached out to the fence. As he wrapped his fingers around the cables, he shook and started to scream. This display scared Ed and the kids as they saw their friend shaking and screaming. But he stopped suddenly and turned his head to the three. He smiled as if he said to them "Gotcha!" "That wasn't funny," Jimmy said still shaking. "EDD, don't you ever scare me like that again!!" Sarah yelled at him while hugging him tightly almost in tears. "Oh Sarah I'm sorry," Edd said to her calmly, "It was just a joke, I didn't mean to make you cry." Laughing, Ed gave Edd a high five while he said, "That was great Edd. You really had me going."  Edd turned his attention back to the fence. "Maybe," Edd said as he tried to pull the wires coiled around the cables, "If we part these." As he tried to find a way out of the fence, another gargantuan roar from the Edosaurus Rex was heard in the distance. Hearing the roar, Edd quickly said to the group, "New plan." He and Ed then started to climb the fence after helping the kids onto it. They soon started to climb up hoping to make it over to the other side. 

Back at the maintenance shed, Nazz continued her way down the dark hallways trying to find Johnny. As she made her way through the dark hall, she responded to Eddy and Eddy's Brother over her walkie talkie. "Guys, I'm in the shed." she said, "So, where do I go now." Back at the emergency bunker, both Eddy and Eddy's Brother looked at the map. "Great!" Eddy's Brother responded, "Now ahead of you should be a metal staircase. Go down that." "Okay," Nazz said, "Going down that right now." "Good," he said looking at the map, "After 20 or 30 feet, you should come to a T-Junction. Take a left." "Have her follow the main cable Bro," Eddy interrupted him. "Pipsqueak I understand how to read this thing," Eddy's Brother answered. Nazz did as she was told, but the way lead her to a dead end. "Crud," she said, "Dead end." "Wait a second," Eddy's Brother said, "There should've been a right turn there." Irritated, Eddy grabbed the walkie talkie from him and talked to Nazz. He said, "Nazz, look right above you." Nazz looked and saw a bunch of wires and pipes up on the ceiling heading down the hall. "There should be a large bundle of wires, cables, and pipes all heading in the same direction. I want you to follow that, you hear me?" "Loud and clear Eddy," Nazz said as she started following the piping, "I'm on it."

"Hey Jimmy, I bet I can climb to the top before you can," Sarah said taunting Jimmy. "Oh yeah," he said with a chuckle, "You're on sucker. What would you give me?" "A whole chunk of respect." Sarah answered. "C'mon you two," Edd said to the both of them, "This isn't a race." "Not if I bet you can't climb up over before me Edd," Ed said with a goofy laugh. "Ed I'm not doing that," Edd answered. "Aw you're no fun," Ed said repeating his laugh. As Nazz continued to follow the cables and piping on the ceiling, she came to a chain link cage with the door creaked open slightly where an electric box was located. "I see the electric box," she said, "It says "high voltage." As she came closer to the box, she opened it and saw many different buttons to the cages and fences in the park as she was examining it. Back at the fence, the four were at the top making their way to the other side. "Alright good, over the top. Let's go Jimmy, you can do it," Edd said as he saw Jimmy making his way, but he was struggling to try to get over. "It's okay Jimmy, take your time," he said, "Find your footing now." Back at the emergency bunker, Eddy's Brother responded over to Nazz saying, "Alright Nazz, you can't throw the main switch by hand. You need to pump up the primer handle four times in order to get the charge. It's big and gray." "Okay here I go," Nazz said as she started to pump the handle, "One, two, three, four. Okay charged." "Under the words 'contact position' there's a big green button that says 'push to close.'" "Push to close," Nazz said as she spotted the button, "Okay." "Push it," he responded back to her. As Nazz pushed the button, all of the other buttons in the electric box lit up with a small green button next to them.

Back at the perimeter fence, Edd, Ed, and Sarah finally made it down, but Jimmy was still on the fence about 3/4 of the way up. The fence responded to the "push to close" button as a red alarm on it started to go off. At the same time, the small blue light on the top of the fence started flashing. Startled by the alarm, Jimmy almost lost his balance and held on tight to the fence. "Now Nazz," Eddy's Brother responded to her, "Those red buttons you see before you turn on the individual park systems, switch them all on." As Nazz started to push them, the small green buttons turned red indicating they were on. But the last one at the very bottom read "Perimeter Fence." "Jimmy," Edd called out to him, "You're gonna have to jump!" "Get down now!" Sarah called to him. "Big Ed will catch you!" Ed said holding out his arms to him. "Are you crazy!?! I'm not jumping," Jimmy shouted back. "C'mon Jimmy," Sarah called out, "You have to." "Don't worry Jimmy, " Edd said, "I'm gonna count to three and Ed will catch you! One, two, three!" But Jimmy was too scared too budge. "I'll save you Jimmy," Ed said approaching the fence. "No Ed, "Jimmy said with a gulp, "I'm gonna jump at the count of three." "That's it Jimmy, but hurry, " Edd said to him. As Nazz pushed the buttons, Jimmy started to count. "One," Jimmy said. Nazz reached the ending buttons. She pushed the perimeter fence just as Jimmy said two. BZZZZZZZZZZZZZT!!!! The fence electrocuted him and he fell. Ed caught him in his arms as they fell to the ground. "JIMMY!!" Sarah cried. "Jimmy!!" Edd said, "Are you okay?" The three saw he wasn't breathing. "He's not breathing."

At the maintenance shed, all of the lights flashed back on with excitement flooding through Nazz saying "Mr. Eddy's Brother I think we're back in business!!" Her excitement soon turned into sheer terror as an Eddyraptor bashed through the pipes behind her hissing and shrieking. Screaming, Nazz struggled to the door as the huge hissing predator fought against the pipes to try to get to her. "You beast!!!!" she shouted to the Eddyraptor as he busted his way out. She quickly slammed the door behind her and locked it as the Eddyraptor clung onto it. She backed away from the door, but Johnny's body fell to her side. "Oh Johnny," she said in relief, but she saw that Johnny was still and with a terrified look on his face. "Johnny?" Nazz asked concerned, "Are you alright?" She saw he was frozen in fear. He was covered in scratches and sticky foamy drool like before, and he clung onto Plank who had a bite taken out of his side.  The Eddyraptor bashed through the door and grabbed a hold of the chained link fenced cage. As Nazz ran with Johnny and Plank in her arms, the vicious creature pulled the door open as if it was made of rubber. Nazz ran for her life with her friends in her hands to the door as the Eddyraptor chased after her. She made it out and hid in the trees just as the Eddyraptor made it out. Looking around for the three, the Eddyraptor eventually abandoned his pursuit of them and ran off back to his pack. Nazz sighed in relief as she carried Johnny back to the Visitor Center. Back at the fence, Edd was trying to revive Jimmy. As he was giving mouth to mouth to him. Jimmy eventually woke up coughing. "Good Jimmy good!" Edd said relieved and overjoyed. "JIMMY," Ed shouted hugging him tightly in his arms while Sarah joined in the hug. "Three," Jimmy said while disoriented. 

"Nazz?," Eddy said over the walkie talkie, "Nazz are you there?" He didn't realize that she dropped her walkie talkie while the Eddyraptor was in pursuit of her. "Oh no." Eddy's Brother slowly started to laugh. Eddy turned to see he had a sinister look on his face and was puzzled by the evil laugh. "Okay I'm confused," Eddy said, "What up with the evil laugh?" "Oh Pipsqueak," Eddy's Brother, "You haven't figured it out yet?" "No," Eddy said with an angry expression, "But I'm curious!" "It was so easy to bring the systems back on line," Eddy's Brother said, "Now we can start all over." "Bro," Eddy said, "You haven't realized what happened this weekend? Most of us almost got killed or are in the process of being in that direction! We need to evacuate this place and NOW!" "SILENCE!!!" Eddy's Brother roared, "And do you not remember why I brought you all here? To help me with this place!!" "We are doing this," Eddy's Brother said why a sly smile while getting uncomfortably close to him, "even if it's by force." "I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!!" Eddy's Brother shouting lunging towards his brother. But his brother ending up smacking the wound in his leg stopping his attack. "YEEEEEEOWWWWWW!!!!" Eddy shouted in pain. Grabbing Eddy, Eddy's Brother quickly tied him to a chair and made his way to the exit of the emergency bunker. Struggling to get free while also cringing in pain, Eddy said to his brother, "You won't get away with this!" "Oh Pipsqueak," Eddy's Brother said as he was leaving, "I already have." With that, he closed the door and locked it behind them.

Out in the jungle, Kevin continued his pursuit of the Eddyraptors and slowly approached one in the distance. "I got you now," he said as he prepared his gun. Just as he was about to fire, an enormous white one suddenly appeared next to him snarling. This was the Abino One Kevin mentioned as they were being fed. He was the alpha and he had an abnormality where he was able to change his skin color. "Clever dork," Kevin said realizing the Eddyraptors tricked him into an attack. The Albino One lunged at him and tried to kill him, but Kevin aimed his gun at the creature. In turn, the Albino One bit his gun ripping it in half. Kevin soon smacked the big dinosaur with a blunt stick. Getting up quickly, Kevin ran for his life. The Albino One got up from his spot while shaking the dizziness and called to his two Eddyraptor lackeys. The three started to chase after him in hot pursuit. As Kevin was running, he saw a dark cave and went in deep enough so no one or nothing can see him. As the three reached the cave, one of the Eddyraptors picked up his scent approached the cave. As Kevin backed as far as he could in the cave, the Eddyraptor almost found him, but he was interrupted but a distant call from the Albino One. The Eddyraptor in turn answered the call and left the cave. As Kevin saw the three theropods disappear in the distance, Kevin raced back to the Visitor Center while avoiding being seen by anything else.
